Green Greetings!
Sub: “Zero Plastic Campaign” – Reg.
Initiative for Global warming Research and Environment Education Network (iGreen) and Radio Mirchi are jointly organizing a competition to remove, reduce and recycle plastic usage from Madurai city and its suburbs, under the banner - “Zero plastic Zones”- Which will have cascading effect among the community to reduce the usage of harmful plastic from their daily life.
This campaign is to promote students sensitization in collecting all plastic refuses and ensure plastic free environment in their college vicinity. Those colleges who collect more plastic refuse -according to the weight – will be awarded prizes. There are First (1,) second (1), third (1) and (7) consolation prizes.
This competition opens from 14thJanuary 2011- 8 A M to 20th January 2011- 5 PM .On 21st & 22nd January 2011, our juries will visit participating colleges and collect the said goods.
We request you to extend your full co-operation for this noble cause and inform us the coordinator’s details to do the necessary follow up.
